Store Policies

ONLINE ORDER PICK-UP

Online orders may be picked-up at Home By Design (552 Berford Street, Wiarton, ON N0H 2T0) from Wednesday-Saturday, 10am - 5pm, or by appointment. 

DELAYED PICKUP

Items maybe purchased in-store or online and paid for in full, but picked up at a later date. Any items held for delayed pickup will be removed from the sales floor, packaged and stored until the pickup date as coordinated with the store.  

REFUNDS

Return of full priced unused merchandise with original tags/packaging for store credit only within 14 days of purchase. Sale merchandise is final sale - no return or store credit.  

HOLDS

We will gladly place an item on hold for you for 3 store business days while you make a final decision. No deposit is required.  Please contact the store for more information.

FURNITURE DELIVERY

Free delivery is available within our local delivery area for regular-priced furniture. Sale furniture is available for in-store pickup or delivery for an additional fee. No discounts apply to regular-priced items selected for pickup. 

Our typical delivery area extends approximately one hour from Wiarton, Ontario though this can vary depending on order size and delivery volume. Larger orders or multiple deliveries in the same region may allow for extended delivery areas. If you’re outside the one-hour range, please contact us to discuss delivery options and availability.

CUSTOM ORDERS

All custom orders require a 50% deposit at time of ordering. We do our best to estimate delivery times of custom orders but delays may occur beyond our control.  All delivery timelines are estimated and subject to change.  Once custom orders are completed, Home By Design will schedule a delivery time convenient for the client.
