Chris Malleck is a contemporary glass artist whose passion for the medium emerged through exploring a range of artistic practices. Drawn to glass for its ambient qualities and ever-changing relationship with light, his work explores the endless expressions created through colour, texture, and illumination.

Chris began his artistic training in 1991 under the guidance of Natalie Noble at The Glass Bead Game in St. Jacobs, Ontario, later refining his skills in design and construction at Schilling Glass Studios

Now based on the Saugeen Peninsula, Chris shares a studio with his wife, Lauren Reedy. Their creative practices inform and inspire one another, rooted in a shared connection to craft, material, and landscape.
